Celtic Bronze Boar Ornament
To Celtic people, the boar was a symbol of fearlessness. Some myths portrayed them as the fierce quarry who led their hunters to the Otherworld. Tacitus reported that a Celtic tribe in Germany wore amulets of the wild boar to protect themselves in battle.
This 3.5cm wide Celtic Boar is made from base white metal that is antique bronze plated. It is supplied in a clear box with information card.
